50eCIHM CONGRESS

On behalf of the International Commission on Military History (ICMH) and the Senegalese Commission on Military History (CSHM), we would like to invite you officially to register and participate in the « 50th International Congress of Military History » to be held on 1: 5 September 2025 in Dakar, Senegal.
The CSHM, in collaboration with the University Sheikh Anta DIOP in Dakar, has the honour of hosting the 50the International military history congress in 2025.
The theme of the congress will be « Rebellions and Sovereignty in the Contemporary Age (1800 to the present day)) ». In close collaboration with the Presidency of the ICHM, the bibliography, archival and educational committees of the ICHM and the Sheikh Anta DIOP University of Dakar, the CSHM will organize, at this Congress, meetings of ICHM councils and committees, working sessions, workshops and panels.

The axes are:
Axis 1 : Typology of rebellions: Forms and characters of rebellions;
Axis 2 : Factors, causes, origins of rebellions;
Axis 3 : Rebellious sovereignty;
Axis 4 : The consequences of the rebellions.
